Description
Queen Anne bureau on stand in oak.
A country made style of bureau from the early part of the 18th century.
This little bureau is carefully hand made carved cabriole Queen Anne legs, a shaped apron with typical shaping of the period as decoration.
The fall front is veneered in a lovely bur oak, as with the front apron.
The drawer is old oak and hand dovetailed. The interior could boast of very good detail especially for an item of miniature furniture of it's size, that would seem quite rare in this scale old or not.
The drawer is fitted with good Dutch drop handles, the originals of which are of a period design.
It measures approx 12" wide x 12" high x 7" deep
