William & Mary Period apprentice piece antique reproduction
William & Mary lowboy in walnut
Item no.WMXV111L2
A miniature William & Mary Lowboy in walnut.
The top is figured, halved patten, and cross-banded in straight grain walnut veneer, the moulding is cross grained as typical of the period as with all the other fine details of the piece. The drawer is dovetailed and interior as throughout in oak.
the drawer is cross-banded and fitted with brass Dutch drop handles
The typical trumpet turned legs shaped stretcher base and ball feet are all true to the period of c.1690
It measures approx; 10" wide x 7"deep,x 8" high
It is French polished and distressed antique finish
