An English made reproduction of an antiqueapprentice piece
A Victorian chest of four drawers in mahogany
Good antique detail throughout
The veneer has a good figure. The top is edged with plain veneered with the base, having a typical ogee moulding, the chest standing on a plinth style base. The rounded edges and wooden knobs is typical to the Victorian period.
The drawers are hand dovetailed and finished as old oak, as with the back, bottom and interior.
It is French polished to a distressed antique finish.
It measures 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 7"
